In energy-intensive operations, even small efficiency losses translate directly into increased operating costs. For this reason, DabV® was implemented in a full-scale commercial tomato greenhouse operated by NAMS in Finland as part of a long-term technical partnership.
Inside of NAMS greenhouse
The objective was clear:
Improve heating system efficiency without electricity, chemicals, or system modifications.
Key outcomes observed to date at the NAMS installation:
• Improved heat transfer across the closed heating system
• 20–25% reduction in total energy consumption, verified across multiple comparison periods
• Ongoing internal system cleaning, observed through filters and magnetic separators
Inspection and installation
Importantly, the internal cleaning process within the piping network is still ongoing. Continued accumulation of released deposits in filters indicates that DabV® progressively improves internal pipe conditions over time. As a result, the system has not yet reached its final stabilized state, and further performance improvements are expected.
All reported results have been verified using operational energy metering data, district heating supplier calculations, thermographic analysis, water samples, and third-party technical assessment.
The NAMS greenhouse now serves as a validated reference site, demonstrating that DabV® delivers measurable and repeatable performance improvements under real production conditions, with additional gains developing as the system continues to clean internally.
DabV® is designed for customers who require documented results, low operational risk, and maintenance-free implementation.
